Detailed Engineering, Design & Structural Analysis

The project's generation potential and the mechanical limits of the site or roof are determined through comprehensive engineering analyses.

  • 3D Shadow & PVSyst Simulation: Shading losses caused by chimneys, parapets or topography are simulated using a 3D digital twin
  • Roof Structural & Wind/Snow Load Calculations: The additional load-bearing capacity of existing roof trusses and cladding is analysed using structural software
  • Electrical Single-Line & Layout Design: DC cable cross-section optimisation, string configuration, inverter placement, LV/MV transformer substation designs

Why AL ENERJİ EPC?

EPC From an Investor and Owner's Perspective

As an organisation that also operates its own plants, we know the performance losses that even the smallest workmanship error on site will cause 10–15 years later, and we manage construction quality with that accountability.

Oversizing Expertise

We precisely model the DC/AC power ratios by geographic location to keep inverter capacity at maximum even during winter months and low irradiance periods, maximising annual generation output.

Infrastructure Ready for European Standards

In addition to domestic projects, we design in compliance with EU grid regulations (ENTSO-E / EU Grid Codes) for European markets, ensuring internationally bankable deliverables.

Frequently Asked Questions

About EPC & Installation

How is structural suitability verified for rooftop SPP projects?+
Prior to the project, the existing architectural and structural drawings of the factory or building are reviewed. Structural elements are inspected on-site to verify that the additional load of the panels and mounting structure (approximately 12–18 kg per m²) is compliant with the building's earthquake, snow and wind load tolerances, confirmed through university-approved structural reports.
Why is the DC/AC ratio (Overplanting) important in solar power plants?+
Solar panels deliver their nominal power only under ideal laboratory conditions (STC). Under real field conditions, power losses occur due to temperature and low irradiance. By installing DC panel capacity 20% to 50% above inverter capacity (e.g. a 1.3–1.5 DC/AC ratio), inverters are kept operating at full capacity throughout the day, maximising annual generation output.
Does AL ENERJİ provide SPP EPC and project development services in European markets?+
Building on our 220 MW+ SPP engineering and EPC experience in Turkey, we actively monitor renewable energy investments and EPC opportunities particularly in Eastern Europe and EU countries. All our engineering designs, equipment supply chains and testing procedures are structured in compliance with international IEC standards and EU Grid Codes.
What does the IEC 62446 standard mean in solar power plant installation?+
IEC 62446 is the international standard for the documentation, acceptance testing and inspection of grid-connected photovoltaic systems. Reporting DC earthing continuity, polarity, string open-circuit voltage (Voc), insulation resistance and operating current tests in accordance with this standard during commissioning confirms the safety of the plant.
